Drop water in the CL-415

Fly the CL-415, drop water with X, and refill by skimming a lake or river without touching the surface.

Firefighting is a local loop. You do not need a second airport. Update 18 added the Bombardier CL-415 for this job. The 35-plane price table does not list its Cash cost or top speed, so treat it as a Cash Hangar aircraft whose exact price you must read in game.

One cycle

  1. Spawn the CL-415 and take off toward visible smoke.
  2. Fly low and stable over the fire.
  3. Press X to drop water. The drop has to pass over the fire to count.
  4. Fly to a lake or river and skim just above the surface to refill.
  5. Do not touch the water. Contact is described as destroying the aircraft.
  6. Return and drop again.

A reported single drop paid about 33,400 Cash. That is one test figure, not a fixed official rate. The loop is short because you skip the second landing. VIP's 50 percent Cash bonus and 2x Job XP still apply in the way those passes are described for other jobs: VIP multiplies Cash, and 2x Job XP multiplies experience, not the water itself.

Update 18 also added the Boeing 747-8 and stabilized follow-me cars and airport buses. Those ground vehicles still have no payout. Stay in the CL-415 if the goal is Cash.

If X does nothing, check that you are in the pilot seat of the water bomber and that the tanks were refilled. Keyboard lists do not give a different mobile drop button, so use the on-screen control the client shows for the release.
